Tucked away in Bodega Bay, this 100+ year-old working ranch is now a family destination where kids can fish for rainbow trout or go horseback riding on coastal trails.
Poles are available to rent, and no fishing license is required—perfect for first-timers. Horseback rides (via Horse N Around Trail Rides) are open to ages six and up.

Independence Day at the fairgrounds features Fired Up Freedom, a high-energy event with the area’s largest fireworks display. Celebrate with live music from local bands, delicious food and drinks, and the hilarious World Championship Pillow Fights.
The musical lineup includes The Ryan Woodard Band, The Poyntlyss Sistars Band, and Smoke N Mirrors Band.

More than 400 works are displayed in Gualala, along with food and craft vendors, live entertainment, and children’s activities. August 17th has a similar schedule, plus a raffle drawing and the announcement of the Most Popular artwork at 3:00 p.m.
