A Celebration of Music, Nature, and Community

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, SOMO Village will once again come alive with music, art, and environmental inspiration as the Sonoma Wild Music Festival & Community Gathering returns to the SOMO Village Event Center in Rohnert Park.

More than just a concert, Sonoma Wild is a gathering designed to celebrate what makes Sonoma County special – its natural beauty, vibrant culture, and community spirit. The festival blends live music, environmental awareness, local art, and family-friendly experiences into a day that brings people together around a shared appreciation for the land we call home.

Whether you attended last year or are discovering it for the first time, Sonoma Wild offers a unique experience that reflects the values of Sonoma County: creativity, connection, and care for the environment.

Why Sonoma Wild Was Created

Sonoma Wild was created by Tapestry Productions, a nonprofit organization dedicated to producing live events that raise awareness and funding for grassroots environmental and cultural initiatives.

The vision behind the festival is simple but powerful: bring people together through music and community while supporting the organizations working to protect the natural landscapes, wildlife, and watersheds of Sonoma County.

In a time when environmental challenges are becoming increasingly urgent, Sonoma Wild creates a space where people can celebrate, learn, and take action. Attendees can connect directly with local environmental organizations, attend educational talks, and discover ways to support conservation efforts happening right here in our region.

The result is a festival that is both joyful and meaningful – where music and community create momentum for positive change.

A Growing Community Tradition

The inaugural Sonoma Wild festival proved just how powerful this idea can be.

Last year’s event welcomed more than 1,600 attendees, bringing together music lovers, families, artists, and environmental advocates from across Sonoma County and the Bay Area.

Highlights included:

18 local environmental organizations sharing their work with the community

Nine grants awarded to local nonprofits supporting conservation efforts

A full day of music, food, art, and family activities

What emerged was more than a festival. It became a gathering point for people who care about Sonoma County and want to be part of protecting its future.

An Incredible Lineup for 2026

This year’s Sonoma Wild promises an unforgettable musical experience featuring an eclectic mix of acoustic, folk, roots, and genre-blending artists.

Headlining the festival is Elephant Revival, known for their transcendent blend of folk, Celtic, bluegrass, and indie rock influences that create a sound both earthy and expansive.

The 2026 lineup also includes:

Sam Grisman Project – a collective of exceptional musicians performing classic acoustic and Americana-inspired music

Mikaela Davis – a celebrated harpist and songwriter blending psychedelia, country rock, and orchestral pop

Hot Buttered Rum – a high-energy roots band rooted in Appalachian traditions with a modern California twist

MaMuse – uplifting acoustic music inspired by harmony, connection, and the natural world

Danny Goldberg’s Sound Immersion Experience – opening the event with a powerful sound journey using gongs and singing bowls

Together, these artists create a full day of performances designed to inspire, energize, and connect the crowd.

More Than a Music Festival

While music is at the heart of Sonoma Wild, the event is designed to be a full community experience.

Throughout the day, attendees can explore:

Environmental information booths and presentations from local conservation groups

Artisan vendors and makers showcasing handmade goods

Food vendors and local cuisine

Craft beer, wine, cider, and other local libations

Art installations and creative experiences

Family-friendly activities, including face painting, crafts, and music activities for kids

It is a festival designed for all generations. Families, music lovers, environmental advocates, and curious first-time visitors all find something to enjoy.
