Summer camp registration is now open at Adventure Recreation, with weekly camps running June 4 through August 7 for kids ages 3.5–12.
Now located at SOMO Village, Adventure Recreation brings its established youth movement programs to local families, including gymnastics, ninja, tumbling, open gym, and active summer camps.
Designed for active, curious kids, Adventure Recreation’s camps combine movement, creativity, hands-on learning, outdoor play, and social connection in a structured, screen-free environment parents can feel good about.
And for busy families, the setup is simple: one convenient drop-off multiple camp options running at the same time flexible scheduling with optional extended care camps designed to keep kids engaged all day long
More Than Just Keeping Kids Busy
Adventure Recreation’s camps are intentionally designed to keep kids active, engaged, and interacting throughout the day, not just supervised.
Campers rotate through a mix of: gymnastics and ninja movement games and team challenges science and building projects art and creative activities outdoor exploration and play
Activities are structured to keep the day moving and engaging while helping kids build confidence, creativity, coordination, and social skills along the way.
The environment is active, social, and highly organized, led by trained coaches with strong camper-to-coach ratios: 8:1 for Explorer Camp ages 3.5–6 12:1 for older campers
That smaller-group approach allows for more individual attention and a more supportive overall experience.
And perhaps most importantly for many parents, the camps are intentionally screen-free.

Explorer Camp (Ages 3.5–6)
A structured, supportive introduction to camp with movement, games, creativity, and social development designed specifically for younger kids.
Adventure Camp
A high-energy mix of games, tumbling, outdoor activities, science, art, and team challenges for kids who love variety and movement.
Builders Camp
LEGO builds, marble runs, circuits, and engineering-style projects for curious, hands-on kids.
Science Camp
Interactive experiments, hands-on projects, and exciting science activities designed around creativity and discovery.
Art & Tumble Camp
A blend of tumbling, movement, painting, watercolor, collage work, and creative expression.
Cheer & Tumble Camp
Cheer instruction focused on jumps, choreography, teamwork, and confidence-building.
Gymnastics Camp
Skill-building across floor, beam, bars, and vault with progression throughout the week.
Flexible Scheduling That Fits Real Life
Adventure Recreation Summer Camp runs across 10 weeks, allowing families to pick the weeks that work best for their schedules.
Explorer Camp runs every week throughout the summer, while themed camps rotate weekly for ages 7–12.
Camp hours include: Morning Camp: 8:15 AM–1 PM Optional Extended Session: 1–3 PM
The location in SOMO Village also makes camp especially convenient for families throughout Sonoma County, as well as parents working nearby or within the Village itself, including members of SOMO Cowork and somofit.
