On May 1st, 2025, the annual Zero Waste Symposium will take place at SOMO Village in Rohnert Park, hosted by Zero Waste North Bay.
This full-day event (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) brings together community members, businesses, and changemakers to explore the principles of a circular economy.
The program features inspiring keynote talks, hands-on workshops, and expert-led panel discussions. Speakers include Alejandra Warren (Plastic Free Futures), Nick Schwanz & Spencer Scott (Solar Punk Farms), Dante Garcia (Community Gearbox), and Renata Massion (Cruz Foam). Topics will cover waste reduction, composting, reuse strategies, and sustainable design innovations.
