June 25, 2016, SOMO Village Sport Field | 16 teams, 86 participants, raising over $30,000. 24-hour walk Relay For Life teams camp out overnight and take turns walking or running. Events are up to 24 hours long because cancer never sleeps. Each team is asked to have at least one participant active at all times.
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer. It unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to finish the fight once and for all.
